Okay, so from recent experiments I found out what the underlying issue was behind this: the emotional items. It seemed odd, but I wasn't focused on that at the time. I even played a different household thinking it was just this one household. They can woohoo in the sons bed and the son can woohoo in the Parents bed but not their own. I have tried resetting all sims in the house and buying new beds, even moving them into different rooms. Also i notice when i send the one spouse to bed the other spouse that is already sleeping will get kicked out of the bed. God I hope they fix this! Funny post! Maybe it's EA's secret sim birth control ploy. Woohoo doesn't even show up on their queue. Put all the beds back in place, try once more. Put all the beds except his in the inventory, try again. Until I try to get their now adult son to woohoo with one of his many conquests. Now I'm thinking I've discovered a fix for the issue. Go back for yet another adventure, try the woohoo, still works. Save, quit, and bring to a close another sim day. So, now I'm thinking, "Yeah, way to go! You're freakin' awesome, man." And I don't think anything of it. Guess what? It worked! I was so ecstatic about my simming genius that I placed the other beds back in their previous spots, tried again, and it still worked. So I sold the bed, bought a completely different one, and tried again. Like there wasn't a bed for the action to take place at. I put all except one bed in my family inventory, clicked for the couple to woohoo, and the action disappeared.
